Inter-generational group Polar Bear are almost in peril of making jazz a commercially viable proposition. Unconventional, humorous and with a generous helping of accessible driving grooves from enfant terrible Seb Rochford on drums, they represent the best in contemporary British Jazz. Loose Tubes veteran tenor player Mark Lockheart shares the front line with fellow saxophonist Pete Wareham. Co-promoted by Birmingham Jazz in association with The Glee Club.
