Charlie Dark’s African Beats Tour

David Okumu – Guitars
Richard Olatunde – Talking Drum, Sakara, West African percussion

This gig was recorded on the Oxford leg of Charlie Dark’s African Beats tour in March 2008, produced by Birmingham Jazz. The gig was a mixture of electronica, traditional African rhythms and jazz and certainly went down well with audiences around the country.

Swiss Keyboard ace Leo Tardin, drummer Dominic Burkhalter and maverick vocalist Mike Ladd treated us to a rare UK performance at The Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath.
