TG Collective

Saturday 27th February
The Polish Club, Birmingham
8pm
£8 (£6 Members and Concessions)

TG Collective was founded in 2006 by guitarists Sam Slater and Jamie Fekete, two of the three guitarists from Trio Gitano. TG Collective are a glorious combination of gypsy hotclub, flamenco, jazz and contemporary classical influences which underpin this superb ensemble, built around a core of the two guitarists. An exciting, sensuous sound described rightly by The Times as “Stylish – very stylish”. They are joined by Percy Pursglove on bass, trumpet and cajon, Holly Jones on flutes and Louis Robinson on violin. TGC also feature eminent flamenco dancer and choreographer Ana Garcia, and world percussionist/cajon player Tom Chapman, with new and interchanging shapes and sizes of ensemble within a performance.
