Percy Pursglove is a very talented man, known to many as an outstanding trumpet player. As a bass player he has formed an excellent rhythmic partnership with drummer Andrew Bain and this will form the basis of a new band. Featuring Mike Williams on sax and Malcolm Edmonstone on Piano.

We return to the charismatic Polish Club for a gig partnering one of the most exciting trumpet players in European jazz, Damon Brown with a legend of US jazz,( having played in the seminal 70s band of Miles Davis and Elvin Jones) Saxophonist Steve Grossman.
The frontline players are joined by a strong UK band with Robin Aspland on piano, Mark Hodgson on bass and Troy Miller on drums.

Pete Wareham is acknowledged as a major force in contemporary British Jazz and Jazz Club is delighted to present his electric acoustic project The Final Terror which was launched at Cheltenham Jazz Festival last year. Featuring Leo Taylor on Drums , Ruth Goller on Electric Bass and Chris Sharkey on Guitar. The Final Terror is a raucous mix of Thrash Jazz and Electronic directed by Wareham on saxophones and pedals. Wareham and The Final Terror moves though genres making it a gig for anyone who’s into good music.
