The Antidote

This new band is the Brainchild of bassist Matt Ridley and is clearly an exciting new quintet, bristling with young talent. They have made a debut recording that will be performed on this gig.  The music will reflect Matt’s interest in fusing the English musical traditions and strengths of Rock, Folk and Classic into jazz improvisation. The line-up reflects that eclectic mix of styles and musicality. The recording has been reviewed as “…remarkable for its depth, integrity and refreshing insistence on strong melodic, thematic material”.
