Internationally acclaimed, award-winning saxophonist Tony Kofi explores the music of the great tenor saxophone players, with a focus on their output on Blue Note Records. The band has been playing as a unit since 2015, and on this outing will be exploring material by John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Hank Mobley, Sam Rivers, Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson & Dexter Gordon amongst others as they pay homage to the giants of the tenor saxophone throughout jazz.
